Weather: Temp 2 degrees C. Wind out of the west 10-17 mph. strongest in early am. Heavy cloud cover, generally 85-90% Clear. Intermittent rain, snow throughout the count. Conditions continuing to deteriorate, count stopped at 2 PM.
Raptor Observations: 7 migrating raptors 1 distant GE unknown age at 10:40. 4 turkey vultures. 1 good close look at a male northern harrier, low over the site. 1 kestrel. Also 1 Golden eagle in front of us gaining heighth then flying north up the valley. Not counted.
Non-raptor Observations: blue jays, robins, pileated woodpecker, downy woodpecker, tufted titmouse, juncos. Also 1 fox sparrow which perched on a shrub near the Flament bench.
