Morningside Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City - Friday, November 6th -
The Bullocks Oriole in younger-male plumage continued for a third day to Friday since its Nov. 4th discovery at Morningside Park. The Bullocks has favored trees alongside a broad stone staircase which is a bit west of Manhattan Ave. at West 113th Street, and that staircase on the south side of the one small pond in Morningside Park. At times, patience may be needed to locate and have fair to good views of this active Oriole. Many have found it going at times to sap-wells that Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers have created.
