Here where we live in Mendocino County we normally have good numbers of Varied Thrust starting with the acorns drop and sticking around through most of January. This year there been many many more birds than normal, with 50 to 75 or more in our yard every morning. We crush acorns in the cul-de-sac and at times I'm sure they number over 100. Any show up yet in the Anderson area or your yard?
