Observers:
Visitors: Two motorcyclists from Rhode Island stopped by to chat about the hawk watch for a while and a local couple from 522 Mt. Union area also came by to chat.
Weather: Humid, sunny and breezy after the morning showers. Southeast winds dropped off after 12:00 and were much lighter the remainder of the day.
Raptor Observations: One local Red-tail was very active today, along with local Turkey and Black Vultures. A kettle of 8 Blacks and the local Red-tail entertained me for quite some time. They came from the West and eventually headed East towards Lewistown.
Non-raptor Observations: A high soaring unkindness of Raven's (6), as well as Crows, a Pileated Woodpecker and Black-capped Chickadees. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Darrell Smith (<oleagleye...>)
