Subject: [NEBirds] Black-billed Magpies in Rock County
While grouse hunting in southern Rock County this morning, I came across 2 Black-billed Magpies perched in a cedar tree on the edge of an alfalfa center-pivot. They were about 6.5 mi SSW of Rose, Nebraska. It’s been many years since I’ve seen magpies in the eastern half of the state. There were also numerous large flocks of Lapland Longspurs, Horned Larks, and American Pipits.

Not on eBird.
