The Bubb pond had 2-3 male */Common mergansers/* today in addition to
the females reported last week.
There were 3 */Hooded mergansers/* (1 M, 2F) which were new for this week.
The highlight of my outing was a */Wilson's snipe/* in the McClellan
Ranch Community garden on the ground. After a few seconds it flew up in
a leafy tree and I lost it.
Do not disclose information that identifies the location of nesting birds of any species, to minimize stress on the nesting birds and the risk of vandalism or abuse.
