Mario Ramos reported a Common Gallinule at Whittier Pond, NCOS this morning (2 Nov). Libby and I had good views of it in the afternoon in the north-west corner of the pond where it spent most of its time feeding along the edge of the reeds and was rarely out of sight. There was also a couple of American Goldfinches in the willows on the south side of the pond alongside the bridge.
