Subject: Re: [Tweeters] Tweeting Rare Birds.......or NOT
Hello Tweeters,

On the Oregon side, OBOL (of which I am the moderator) has seen a similar decline in postings. Major finds and rarities these days are mostly posted and discussed on the Oregon birding Discord, which is great if you have the time or inclination to browse through many different channels there. Some diligent subscribers to both OBOL and the Oregon Discord channels (thank you!) do try to post about major rarities on OBOL (you know who you are, and thank you!), so that certainly helps. Another OBOL subscriber also posts the daily eBird Oregon-wide rare bird alert on OBOL (also, thanks!).

Maybe some Tweeter can spare 2 minutes a day and just simply forward the Washington RBA to Tweeters? All it takes is hit the “forward” button and send it on to Tweeters if you’re already subscribed to the WA RBA.

Photos would be nice, but only complementary to even just a plain-text daily WA RBA on Tweeters.

Cheers and good birding.

As you likely know OBOL has allowed photos for several decades. But before that, it did not, same as Tweeters. I'm sending this only to you because I've harped so much about it in the past to no avail. Bob

We learned about it from eBird, went up there this morning and failed to see it, although one of the Black Phoebes there put on a show for us. The farmlands and scattered copses and hedge rows there look like they could be home for many species of birds.

I would have thought (hoped?) that a mega like that would have made it on to Tweeters (to which I have long subscribed). i would have chased it immediately, as my shorebird list is my favorite list. So I checked the Tweeters Archives.
