Are you birding up to the last minute? I thought you would be packing and repacking frantically, obsessing about missed planes, lost luggage, bad airline meals, lost passports, atrocious weather in Tierra del Fuego, uncongenial fellow-passengers, and the Magellanic Woodpecker that keeps tapping at trees just around the corner but moves further away, never letting you get a glimpse.
