My last coordinates were mistakenly on the wrong side of the trail. The bird has been hunkered down feeding on the ridge just off the side of the trail for at least a half hour at 37.446592,-122.105414.
Do not disclose information that identifies the location of nesting birds of any species, to minimize stress on the nesting birds and the risk of vandalism or abuse.
