Greetings 🎃,
Due to a spooky coincidence, only two of the three hotspots that were
candidates for completion during the last week of October were actually
completed. Otay Lakes County Park is now missing a week in December
(presumably because a checklist was moved or removed). San Pasqual
Battlefield and Carson's Crossing are now complete!
Highlights from the hotspots covered in the past week include a late
Hammond's Flycatcher on Mt Laguna, nearly a hundred Eared Grebes at San
Vicente, six total Cactus Wrens at San Pasqual Battlefield, and the
previously mentioned late Bank Swallow and huge numbers of American Coots
at Lower Otay.
Next week we have a short main list as we get into the last 2 months of the
year.
Hotspots nearing bar chart completion (number = weeks missing):

Warwick Ave riparian - 2
