My buddy and I were biking on the new trail to Anderson Lake from Four Corners in Jefferson County. The trail dead ends for the time being at Anderson Lake’s north end. As we got to the top of the bike path just before the dogleg left down to the end point, we stopped for a snack. There were two pileateds calling out one from a large fir on the west side of the trail and one from the east side, which we saw flying south. Anyway, thought I would mention it.
