Hi Pen-birders,
For those who plan to chase the BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER, or who already have seen this bird and reported it on eBird, I have created a Stake-out hotspot for the correct location of this bird. To my knowledge the warbler has only been seen on the east side of Hwy 1. However some have used the Calera Creek hotspot which is no where near where this bird has been seen and this has created some confusion.
* - If you used the Calera Creek hotspot for the warbler please change your checklist location to the following to help others know where to look for this bird and avoid more confusion.
* - If you created a personal location on the east and correct side of Hwy 1 to report the warbler, please consider changing to the new stakeout hotspot, link below, to cut down on personal location splatter on the eBird search map.
* - THANKS!
I’ve also renamed the Calera Creek hotpot to help define it better.
Calera Creek - WEST of HWY 1 *ONLY* - memorial gardens, trails and riparian areas out to the shoreline ( https://ebird.org/hotspot/L1522565 )

The LARK BUNTING is at the Calera Creek hotspot on the west side of Hwy 1 , The BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER is at the new Stake-out hotspot on the east side og Hwy 1. Please use accordingly. Thank You!
