Subject: [southbaybirds] Calero Reservoir
Hi Everyone,

I briefly checked out Calero Reservoir this morning. There were
plenty of *Western
Grebes* plus many *Clark's Grebes* but no breeding behaviors. A pair of *Bald
Eagles* was bathing on the opposite side of the reservoir from the boat
launch and a pair of *White-tailed Kites* was present. The water level is a
little low so there's plenty of bank - I counted about 32 *Wilson's Snipe*
(need a scope). *Sora* and *Virginia Rail* were heard only.

Happy birding!
