Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Tropical & Western Kingbirds
Single Tropical & Western Kingbirds Are also present in that same Star/Norfolk Pine the scissortail was in for 10 or 15 minutes along with seven or eight Cassins kingbirds. The Western has been present since mid-september and is likely going to Winter here if it's been here this long, and we've had Western winter here before, and Joe Alsadi who was here photographing the scissor tail as well found a Tropical kingbird in the same group, a species which also has wintered here multiple winters recently.

A FOUR Tyrannus tree!

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://sandiegofieldornithologists.org/san-diego-county-avian-records-database/.
