Hello, tweets.
American Robins are really social birds in the winter. Twice in the last two weeks I’ve had a flock come into the yard. Two or three will be bathing in our pond at once, not that far apart but of course not within pecking distance. As each bird departs, another one will come in, for a flurry of activity for up to 10 minutes. Each bird is present only for a couple of minutes maximum. Then, all of a sudden, they’re gone.
