Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Pectoral Sandpiper continues at Sports Park
The Pectoral Sandpiper continues at the San Dieguito Sports Park. We first saw it standing out in the water in the open in the eastern most pond area, and then it moved further west. Out in the open most of the time for the last hour.

Also had 2 Wilson's Snipe. One was out in the open next to the water foraging close to here:

32.98221,-117.22800

Unfortunately we flushed a second one we didn't see as we walked up near the pond. It flew a long ways. Not sure if it came back, but it did seem to be circling back.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://sandiegofieldornithologists.org/san-diego-county-avian-records-database/.
