Following up on eBird reports from Joel Herr and Michael Strom, I visited the Markham Nature Area in Concord today, where several Evening Grosbeaks continue. I heard my first one call as soon as I got out of the car. It was a while before I got eyes on a bird, but eventually saw several, including a few bathing just downstream of the bridge by the science center (the end of the park nearest Cowell Ave.).Cheers, Kathy Robertson HaywardSent from my Galaxy
