My wife and I decided to spend the 1st 2 weeks of this month in Florida, primarily bird watching. I did a fair amount of research, trying to figure out where to go. My aunt and uncle live in Naples and we spent 4 nights with them which was great. I had not seen them in many years.
We left Ozark on Saturday the 3rd and drove to Greenville, MS. Then on Sunday we drove to Apalachicola. There was quite a bit of rain that day and the morning of Monday the 4th was a frog strangler. We had planned to spend the morning at St. George Island but instead drove on down to the Clearwater area which is where we had planned to spend the night anyway. We just got there earlier in the day and did some birding there.
