Hello All,
When I click the highlighted "change.org", it takes me to the main page of
change.org.
If you click the search icon at the top, the search bar appears on the main
page where you are able to type in "protection island". A list of current
issues appears and this one is the second one down. Click the arrow tab by
the puffin and it will take you directly to the sign here page.
Hopefully this is helpful.
Because this land transfer requires federal legislation (The Jamestown
S'Klallam Land Transfer Act of 2026), our state representatives and
Senators have a direct say in whether or not this goes through. I have
written to both Cantwell and Murray (as well as called the Capitol
Switchboard (202) 224-3121); Representative Emily Randall is also a contact
I believe.
Agreed. No one group should have sole say in what happens to a place,
recreation area, species, etc., and most certainly not when the public is
excluded from engagement or commenting; that begins to tread on dangerous
ground.
Sincerely,
Jenny
