Hi OKBIRDS,

This afternoon, Saturday, 24 October, I photographed an extremely late EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE at Myriad Botanical Gardens in downtown OKC, Oklahoma Co. It was actually fly-catching and chasing an EAPH in the mature oaks and sycamores near the dog run area off Reno Ave. Perhaps the latest-ever documented record for Oklahoma statewide. Very crazy!

Earlier this morning, I had a very late female-plumaged BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER at Martin Park Nature Center in n. OKC. It was high in the canopy by the visitor center bldg.

Good birding,
