Good evening, Bird Club!
Please join us next week on *Wednesday, October 28th at 7pm* for our
October Bird Club meeting at *Millbrook Marsh*!
At this meeting, Adan Kooken will be joining us via zoom to share his
presentation titled, “Bird Research in the Alaskan National Park System.”
Adan Kooken is a Penn State graduate and Shavers Creek alum. Over the
summer, he got the chance to work with the National Park Service in Alaska
and contribute to multiple different research projects related to birds. In
his presentation, he will be sharing information on some of those projects
he encountered and worked on as well as the process that goes into them and
what they are hoping to teach us about birds.
