Subject: [sd-birds] Streaked sparrows
I know sparrow id can be tricky
Especially with brief glimpses

I currently have Harris sparrows coming to my bird bath collection. But I
also think I have have song sparrows and a Savannah Sparrow. But I find
them to be very difficult to tell apart. But I believe the song Sparrow has
a long tail and the Savannah spiero has a shorter tail. I don't think I
have a vesper Sparrow because they have an I ring and this doesn't. Other
birds I'm seeing at the birdbath include bluebirds, juncos, Robin's and a
pineceskin. I know what Lincoln sparrows look like and it's not a Lincoln
Sparrow so I've narrowed it down to a Savannah. I'm partly asking a
question but mostly it's just a statement of what's coming.
