This year’s San Diego Christmas Bird Count is Saturday, December 19 , and we hope you’ll join us. All ages and abilities are welcome.
* Sector Leaders: please register by November 1. We have new training materials to share with you.
* Participants: please register by November 15. Sign up early for the best chance at your preferred assignment.
Dates to save
* Tue., Nov. 17, 3:30pm PT: CBC webinar from National Audubon, a good introduction for new counters
* Wed., Nov. 18, [time]: Virtual Sector Leader Orientation (details & invitation to follow)
* Sat., Dec. 19: Count day, start time varies, but can expect starting between 5-7am
* Sat., Dec. 19, 1:30 pm: Compilation Lunch. At least one member from each Sector is required, and all counters are welcome.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.
