This evening I stopped by Otter Pond in Montrose to look for an American White Pelican, I heard was at the pond. Instead, I found an adult Brown Pelican. I spoke to a couple who live near the pond, and they told me that it had been around for about a week. Unfortunately, I only had my phone for photos.
