Weather:
Blue skies all day with light northeast winds. Temps starting around
freezing and reaching the mid-60s.

Raptor Observations:
The raptor flight was light to moderate but the numbers added up throughout
the day. Third day in a row with 300+ migrants. Another good Turkey Vulture
flight with 222. A moderate Accip flight with 24 sharpies and 13 Coops. Two
juvenile Broad-winged Hawks. Small numbers of other expected migrants.

Staying the extra hour at the end of the day paid off with an extra Merlin,
kestrel, and an Osprey. At 4:40pm clock time a group of 44 Turkey Vultures
glided by to the east. Just before 5pm an immature GOLDEN EAGLE soared high
overhead, headed north for a bit, then eventually lost altitude and headed
east.

Non-raptor Observations:
25 Canada Geese, Belted Kingfisher, 2 Common Ravens, 3 Hermit Thrushes, 5
Purple Finches, 20 Pine Siskins, 7 Dark-eyed Juncos, Lincoln's Sparrow, 3
Palm Warblers, 5 Yellow-rumped Warblers, 5 monarchs.
