Hi, Tweets – this is an addendum to the September 2026 turkey vulture
report so that the October report won’t be so long. PLEASE – send any

SEPTEMBER
O9/10/17/19 -- One turkey vulture at Larch Mountain, Clark County.
24 -- 92 at Woodland Bottoms, Cowlitz County (known migration location).
25 -- 14 at Larch Mountain; one at Vancouver Lowlands, Clark County.
26 -- 236 at Woodland Bottoms.
27 -- Two at Battle Ground; eleven at Larch Mountain.
28 -- 601 at La Center, Clark County (known migration location).
30 -- 613 at La Center.
October sort of wraps up the serious turkey vulture migration from the
Pacific Northwest, but there are lots of slowpokes and a few that
overwinter In spots. Wish we could find more of those spots!
