Subject: [slocobirding] Ferruginous Hawks
The Ferruginous hawks are back roosting in the tall eucalyptus in my Nipomo neighborhood. They come each year, sometimes as many as 11. Lots of different morphs.
Lots of healthy red-breasted nuthatches using my water feature. More than I’ve ever seen.
On another note, I saw a beautiful female McGillivray’s warbler at Oceano today.
Hoping for an evening grow speak on my property, but no luck so far.
