Hey My Mendo Birding Friends,
I hope you had a great day out on the Pacific today. I had hoped to be able to join you but I'm still recovering from a bike crash so no boats for me. I was camping at A.W. Way County Park near the start of the Lost Coast Trail (Humboldt Co.) last night and had 3 Owl species. Western Screech, Great Horned, and what I believe to be Barred Owl. On the attached recording what I think is the Barred calls 5 different times. There is also another call on the recording I am not sure of. It occurs at 42 seconds and again at 1:06. It is very faint and can best be heard at full volume with headphones.
I'd appreciate any opinions you all might have.
