Hi all,
Kaden Oh and I took a quick visit to TJ Martin this Saturday afternoon, and found it exceptionally birdy! I’m happy to report the *Chipping Sparrows* are back! We saw 3 foraging on the side of the concrete walking path, just east of the playground around 37.23353, -121.88899. They were joined by a pair of *Savannah* *Sparrows* , which we saw foraging with the Chipping Sparrows before flying off into a nearby tree. We also had some other interesting finds in the large field, including 6 *Killdeer* , 2 *Western Meadowlarks* and an *American Pipit* ! I’ve attached some photos of the Chipping Sparrows, as well as the link to our eBird checklist here ( https://ebird.org/checklist/S403279221?continue ). Hopefully the Chipping Sparrows stick around, and perhaps someone can find a Clay-Colored Sparrow hidden in the mix!
