All:
We are making two important changes to the referenced CBC.
First, we are changing our count day to Mondays. We believe that this will give us relief from the public festivities that seem to be conflicting with our birding efforts at some prime birding locations on Sundays.
Second, the Audubon CBC has agreed to let us shift our count circle back to its original location established in 1979. While this may not seem that important, it really is. It allows us to include Waller Park and the Santa Maria Country Club in our count circle. At the same time, we are not losing any of the locations so important to our count, e.g. the Santa Maria River Estuary.
