Subject: [pen-bird] Lewis's Woodpecker in Belmont
At the south end of the public access trail off of Sem Lane in Belmont, I looked up to see a Lewis's Woodpecker flying south overhead. There were two sightings of Lewis'sWoodpeckers in San Francisco yesterday. A late Lazuli Bunting was along the trail. An early morning skywatch from home in Redwood Shores, I noted the first arrival of amale Bufflehead flying over the Redwood Shores Lagoon. During the week, a juvenile Parasitic Jaeger was on the bay at Coyote Point.
