As you probably know, last night was a great migration push, but don't let the night be the only thing to think about. Right now over my house at 8:30 am and continuing there is a large raptor push, so far the following has been seen
100 Swainson's Hawk
20 Broad-winged Hawk
1 Bald Eagle
1 Golden Eagle, much to my suprise
10 Cooper's Hawk
4 Sharp-shinned Hawk
3 American Kestrel
300 Turkey Vulture
not raptor but still flying over
10 Northern Flicker, yellow-shafted
5 Great Egret
Still counting right now, as I write this.
Wind at my annemometer is 12 mph to 25 mph gust up to 30 mph from north and northwest
Temperature 49 degrees F
Birds seen are being seen from 200 feet up to 900 feet.
More are coming through right now and predicted to be good through the day.
