Observers:

Visitors:
Many visitors today. Mike Sipe from New Lancaster Valley came up to share
about a nesting pair of Bald Eagles near his home. Roy and Bertie Benn of
Belleville arrived and stayed for three hours with me. As the Benn's were
leaving David Sharp and Judy Stepanaskie from the Philly area arrived and
stayed for 3 hours however there was not much to see besides the locals.
Robert Schlabach from NE, Ohio and his family group stopped by to chat
awhile. He is a good birder and has his own Crossly Guide to Raptors.

Weather:
Mostly sunny, with mild temperatures and a nice breeze throughout most of
the day. Winds started out from the NE and gradually shifted SE, which
should have brought on a good flight today, but that did not materialize.

Raptor Observations:
One unidentified Eagle and one unidentified Buteo that were far out over
Ferguson Valley, closer to the other ridge line.
One local Bald Eagle, several local Red-tailed Hawks and a steady flight of
Turkey and Black Vultures throughout the day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jays, a Gold Finch, a huge flight of geese heading towards the Juniata
River, a large murder of crows, and Ravens, including Nemo.

Predictions:
Showers and warm temperatures are predicted.
