Subject: [hmbirds] Probable YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT: Tivoli Lake Preserve, Albany - 10/15
About fifteen minutes ago at Tivoli Lake Preserve in Albany, I saw what I
initially thought was going to be a Common Yellowthroat skulking in some
low, dense vegetation - until it popped out into view briefly and I saw it
had a bright white broken eye-ring with a faded hint of a dark mask and a
bright, canary yellow breast. It immediately resumed its furtive behavior
and I haven't been able to relocate it. I saw this bird in the wooded and
shrubby strip just west of the Livingston Avenue parking lot.

Good birding -
