Weather:
After the previous night's rain, it was off to a sticky start with very
humid air and low clouds/fog, which fortunately weren't socking in the hawk
watch. Steady wind from the southwest shifting westward and intensifying
through the afternoon, mild temps in the mid 60's for most of the day.

Raptor Observations:
It was another slow start with the first migrating raptor just before the
11 o'clock hour. Steady trickle of birds through most of the day, and
toward the end of the day a fair number of falcons and other raptors
quickly blew through, flying low over the valley.

Non-raptor Observations:
Ravens were having a blast in the wind, with 32 being the most counted on a
single scan. Four chipmunks continued to cache our birdseed, and chickadees
and juncos grabbed what they could. both Golden- and Ruby-crowned Kinglets
around the watch, and a Yellow-rumped warbler made an appearance. No other
migrants like geese or jays today.

Predictions:
Partly cloudy skies and winds from the NNW. Seems like it could be a good
one!
