Observers:

Visitors:
Bill Oestreich from Huntingdon who may join us in the future. Max and his
mother from Shippensburg. Max saw the peregrine so it was a good day for
him! Lots of leaf peepers.

Weather:
The day began with heavy clouds and winds out of the W which brought
scatterings of rain around 10:30. After that rain, the sun broke through in
spots and eventually the temp rose. Winds were mild out of the WNW most of
the day.

Raptor Observations:
Adult GE not far off the NW side of the watch. Peregrine was one of the
only birds on the SE side of the watch today. Local redtails kept me on my
toes but were not counted. Many local TV and BV not counted but one group
of 13 BV moved through so were counted as well as 2 who were clearly
heading south.

Non-raptor Observations:
Cape May warbler. Yellow-rumped warbler, Bluebirds, Golden Crowned Kinglets
(which were quite vociferous when I arrived), Blacked-capped Chickadee,
Cedar Waxwings, Blue Jays, REd-bellied WP, Local ravens including Nemo. A
murder of crows. Many flying ants and gnats to begin the day. They calmed
down in the afternoon. However, the SB and LF showed up at 12:38!
