Palm Warbler (Setophaga palmarum) (1)
- Reported Oct 13, 2026 11:31 by Craig Prater
- Mission Creek outflow, Santa Barbara, California

- Comments: "Was right by the bike path bridge over the outflow channel on and around the flood control structure. Foraging near ground level on both side of the channel. Got chased away by at one point by a Black Phoebe but persisted in this area. I got several good looks that were consistent with the Palm Warbler, including tail bobbing, foraging at ground level, dull brown body with yellow on body and tail coverts and the long pale eyebrow. Photos were difficult to get because it was often foraging below and behind the chainlink fence, but I got one (attached) when it briefly perched on the building top."
