Weather: Variably cloudy after a night of rain (30%-70%-90%-40% cloud-cover), then virtually cloudless skies during the last hour and a half. Wind NW 2-9 mph. Temperature 60-65 F.
Raptor Observations: The show barely had a pulse until 11:40 EDT, when a kettle of 61 Turkey Vultures formed just north of the Hill. Vultures predominated; six other species came through singly or in single-digit numbers. Not counted as migrants: 3 Bald Eagles (2 immature, one adult), Cooper's Hawk.
Non-raptor Observations: Canada Geese (one skein of 32), Downy Woodpecker, Eastern Phoebe, Blue Jay, American Crow, Common Raven, American Goldfinches (2) Yellow-rumped Warblers (4). ======================================================================== Report submitted by John Weeks (<aerie.john...>)
