Visitors: 2 visitors today at the north lookout. Joined at the south lookout and then briefly at the north by Ruilin Yang, who was lots of fun to catch up with! Also lent my extra binoculars to a very cute toddler on my way out - he was convinced he would be able to see his house (which is in Virginia).
Weather: 57-69 degrees F, clear to partly cloudy, persistent NW wind. Instead of staying at around 0-3 mph and gusting in the high teens or low 20s, today's wind was a near constant 5-15 mph.
Not a bad day, but less migration than expected here given today's NW wind, with raptors coming in small bursts all day.
Non-raptor Observations: A couple yellow-rumped warblers, juncos, blue jays, tree swallows. The usual suspects. One weird flyover call that might have been a horned lark.
Predictions: Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 77.
