Second Mountain Ft. Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, USA Daily Raptor Counts: Oct 12, 2026 -------------------------------------------------------------------
Raptor Observations: 5 adult and 2 immature Bald Eagles counted. An Adult Golden Eagle almost snuck through below eye level on the north until the quick maneuvers of the TVs caught my attention just in time.
An early Merlin popped in from the west and stirred up the Blue Jays before continuing east and not counted.
Non-raptor Observations: 200+ Blue Jays, Blue-headed vireos, Golden and Ruby Crowned Kinglets, 3 Sapsuckers, Yellow Rump warblers, and White throated sparrows
