Subject: [sbcobirding] Bar-tailed Godwit
[Edited Message Follows]

Continues, as of 5:50 pm today (10/11). Seen half-way between the Coal Oil Point and and the beach stairs from Isla Vista in a (relatively) large flock of Marbled Godwits, Long-billed Curlews with a few Whimbrels and a Red Knot mixed in for a good measure. The flock was very active and quite approachable, until it it suddenly took off in the direction of Santa Barbara and dit not return, at least not until after the sunset.
