Matthew Dodder and I found a very cooperative female type Williamson's Sapsucker up at Loma Prieta on Summit Road at 37.0934270, -121.8389440 in a pine hanging over the road from the Santa Cruz side. It has spent about 20 minutes foraging in the tree with great views. It's been a great morning so far with Evening Grosbeak and Red Crossbills seen and heard migrating over. There have also been swarms of Varied Thrushes this morning as well.
