Total observation time: 6.75 hours

Official Counter: Darrell Smith

Observers: Craig Kochel

Visitors:
Craig Kochel was there when I arrived and stayed until 2:00. Glad he was
there. His eyes are better than mine and the count would have been lower
without him. His photos are amazing. Several groups of Amish looking over
the 2 valleys. Some site seers. Bruce and Becky Hartman from my area of
Martinsburg. George Farmont and Bob ? I messed up the spelling of his name
from State College. I couldn't read my own writing. He was a geologist like
Craig and they knew many of the same people. They had a great conversation.
Sorry I messed up his last name.

Weather:
Clear blue sky most of the day with Light winds from the WNW. Cool to start
but warmed up quickly.

Raptor Observations:
Imm. BE's 10:08,1:01. First bird was a Peregrine Falcon sipping through at
8:24, but Craig got a photo. He amazes me.
One Adult BE not migrating. Local Red-tails, TV's and BV's.

Non-raptor Observations:
Several Ravens and Nemo. Blue Jays and 4 Monarchs.

Predictions:
ESE winds predicted at 5-10 mph. Should be a better day than today.
