Subject: [cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Barr Lake Banding Report, 10/9/26
Another abnormally warm fall day, with few birds and an early close because
of the heat. Here are the 14 new birds, plus a return from 2023:

Ruby-crowned Kinglet 2
Brown Creeper 1 FOS, and something of a rarity
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 1
Wilson's Warbler 1
Spotted Towhee 1
Lincoln's Sparrow 1
White-crowned Sparrow 7 new, 1 banded as an adult in 2023

We are open Tuesday through Sunday, weather permitting, through October
23. Most weekday mornings there is a visitor session from 8 to 9 a.m., and
on the weekends there are sessions at 8, 9 and 10 a.m. Reservations are
needed; here
