There is a feeding frenzy going on in a cove just west of Van Damme/Little River Bay. Lots of gulls, pelicans, and cormorants. It's been going on since yesterday. Also very foggy.

Subject: [Mendobirds] Sabine’s gull Little River

Chris Lamoureux reports seeing a Sabine’s Gull (juvenile) in Little River bay, right in the parking lot this morning. Says it is only the second one he has ever seen, the other having been in Woodland. These are commonly found on pelagic trips, but much less so on the coast.
