I believe this was the same bird I had very close to here on Monday. All soaring together on inland side of Hwy 1 just N of HH parking lot. Circled for just under 15 minutes before heading E."

Compact, short-tailed buteos with obvious straight leading edge, dark primaries, bulging secondaries, and barred tail pattern. One individual significantly more brown streaked on underside than the other. Big movement of this species along the coast today. While they can show up in a good number of places in the county, this location continues to stand out as the most reliable."

Ran and grabbed my camera but by the time I came back all the goldfinches had flushed off of the feeders and did not return. Bright pale Siskin with more defined head pattern, more sparsely streaked back and underparts, greenish wash on back, neon yellow wingbars and wing covert edges, and yellowish undertail and patchy yellowish wash on sides of breast and elsewhere on underparts."

Very active small warbler with long tail, which it often fanned. Mostly pale gray overall with pale olive back. Yellow base of tail and sides of breast. Thought I could see yellow on secondaries, but was very flitty. Gave a few clear, high chip calls. No pics."

- Comments: "Small, compact warbler with short tail. HY bird with pale blue-gray head extending to malar, bold white eye-arcs, bright yellow throat and breast, greenish back, two vivid white wingbars, and clean white belly and undertail coverts. Identifiable pic."

Lime-green crown and back; gray face; prominent white eye ring; pale underparts; two yellow-golden wingbars; no chestnut color on the flanks.--- Foraging in the eucalyptus trees in the gazebo area."

- Comments: "Seen foraging in a tree along the north side of the trail at the trailhead near the short wooden fence (35.567803, -121.103640). It was with a mixed flock of Townsend's Warblers, Bushtits and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. The bird had a lime green crown and back with double pale yellow wing bars, light gray face and throat, white eye ring, whitish chest and belly with faint rusty brown mottling on the flanks. Under tail coverts were white with faint yellow on the sides. It was very active and stayed mostly hidden in the tree foliage. This species was last reported at this location on 10/7/2021 by K. Colestock/ E. Elias."
