Observers:

Visitors:
Many today: The Smuller's (Jill's Mom was good friends with Gloria) from
Linglestown; Terry Vansyoc, a Lewistown native who now lives in Alabama;
Jared from Mt. Union (taking glam shots of his awesome car; an older couple
who live north of Pittsburgh; and two firefighter/EMT's from Lewistown (A
grandfather (Shawn) and grandson (Mason) duo). Enjoyed visiting with all
and they helped to make a slow day go faster.

Weather:
A beauty of a day at the watch. Cool to warm temperatures,
cloudless to fluffy cumulus clouds, however west, northwest winds were very
light throughout the morning finally picking up some after lunch. Limited
flight was observed today.

Raptor Observations:
First raptor of the day was at 9:07 bird time and was a local Red-tailed
Hawk. All flight was out over Big Valley starting naked eye and then
climbing further up and away from the top of the mountain starting around
11:00 bird time. Observed several escorting behaviors today between 2
different RT Hawks and then two separate RT Hawks being escorted through by
Nemo, our resident Raven buddy.

Non-raptor Observations:
Local TV's, BV's, BE, RT's, Ravens and Crows. Also observed Blue Jays,
Cedar Waxwings, a few Doves and smaller birds as usual.
