Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Kate McKay

Observers: Chuck Carlson, Nikko Gagnon, Tom Momeyer

Visitors:
163. Thanks to everyone who joined us spotting birds, and hello to Scott
Hecker!

Weather:
Dense fog in the morning gave way to partly sunny skies. Persistent winds,
mostly from the west. Temps ranging from 46 to 55 degrees.

Raptor Observations:
Another great day for Peregrines. Some would play with the ravens over
North Pack before carrying on again. One Osprey came by every hour starting
at 11 o'clock. Other migrants included a handful of Cooper's Hawks, a few
sharpies, two red-shoulders, two juvenile harriers, one Bald Eagle, and one
Merlin.

Non-raptor Observations:
Along with the raptors, we saw a couple flocks of geese and the usual
songbirds, including two Ruby-crowned Kinglets. An exciting non-bird
highlight was a weasel chasing a chipmunk around near the picnic tables.

Monarchs: 2/839

Predictions:
Similar weather tomorrow, with more west winds and sunshine.
