Date: 10/8/26 10:09 am From: Peter Saracino <petersaracino...> Subject: [GeneseeBirds-L] "Transition" Interpretive Walk this SUNDAY at the Montezuma Refuge
Change is in the air! Leaves are surrendering the green of chlorophyll to reveal their true colors - the carotenoid pigments (yellows, oranges and tans) that have been there all along. And these same pigments have been shuttled up the food chain (via fruit and insects) to give the goldfinch his beautiful yellow and the cardinal his gorgeous red. Join us this Sunday as we explore many of the marvelous transitions currently occurring in the natural world. And bring a friend!! See poster for details.
